Founded by Roger Questel in 1990, Questech offers thousands of innovative home décor products. Each item is hand-crafted and produced with locally sourced materials in our Vermont USA manufacturing facility.

Roger Questel is a noted designer, an accomplished wood sculptor, and a Parson’s School of Design graduate. He has been commissioned by many renowned clients including Orson Wells, Ralph Lauren, Gordon Getty, and Carly Simon.

Inspired by his travels to the far east, he discovered a passion for ceramic sculpture and is currently working out of his barn studio in rural Vermont.

They are mixed with polymers and ceramic for a high-quality finish that looks and feels like real metal. Our Products are available in a variety of metals from Gold to Brushed Nickel, and Oil Rubbed Bronze, providing an aesthetic to match any interior finish.

Roger Questel is a noted designer, an accomplished wood sculptor, and a Parson’s School of Design graduate. He has been commissioned by many renowned clients including Orson Wells, Ralph Lauren, Gordon Getty, and Carly Simon.

While seeking to cast his sculptures in bronze, Roger invented a lightweight and affordable metal composite material. The Smithsonian Institute inducted Questech Metal into its permanent collection of innovative materials at the Cooper-Hewitt National Museum of Design in 1991.

Inspired by his travels to the far east, he discovered a passion for ceramic sculpture and is currently working out of his barn studio in rural Vermont.
